Dear Friends,

I thought I knew the Capitol Complex—until I recently explored it with fresh eyes! Have you ever visited the State Library or the PA State Museum? If not, let me tell you, you’re in for a treat! These spaces are packed with incredible history, artifacts, and exhibits that tell the story of our great state.

I have to admit—I had never visited the State Library of Pennsylvania or the State Museum until Take Your Child to Work Day, when my girls joined me for a little adventure. What we found absolutely amazed me!

The State Library is a powerhouse of learning, offering research resources that support all types of knowledge and growth. Meanwhile, the State Museum is a treasure trove of Pennsylvania’s history, packed with artifacts that celebrate the people, places, and innovations that shaped our great state.

These incredible spots aren’t just for kids—they’re for the young at heart, too! No matter your age, they’re well worth a visit. Next time you're in the area, be sure to stop by—you won’t regret it!

It’s always wonderful to welcome friends to the Capitol, including Montgomery County Treasurer Jason Salus! Connecting with dedicated public servants and leaders who work hard for our communities is truly inspiring. If you ever have the opportunity to visit, I encourage you to come see firsthand how we are working to make a difference. I hope to see you soon!

?? A Personal Honor

What an incredible privilege to receive my honorary black belt at Yang’s Martial Arts School’s 23rd Black Belt Ceremony! This tradition celebrates dedication, perseverance, and skill—qualities that these students have mastered through years of training.

A huge congratulations to all the students who achieved this milestone, YOU are an inspiration! The journey doesn’t end here; martial arts is a lifelong pursuit, and your commitment is truly commendable.

And now, let's talk about some HUGE victories for our local athletes!

?? North Penn Boys Swim Team made waves—literally! They brought home the state title in the 4x400 Free Relay, an incredible achievement built on dedication, discipline, and teamwork. What a way to cap off the season! We are so proud of their hard work.

?? North Penn Ice Hockey made program history—winning their first-ever state championship in epic fashion! And just days before that, they secured their first Flyers Cup, making this a season to remember!

To every student athlete, coach, and supporter—you’ve made our community proud. Take a moment to celebrate these victories. You’ve earned it!
