The funding was awarded to the following:

  • $213,750 to the Coraopolis Community Development Corp. to improve downtown by improving the Community Resource Center, collaborating on Riverfront Park and providing grants for six business facades. It will also continue food security and social services efforts.
  • $55,472 to LEVEL: Equity Buildings to acquire a single-family home for rehabilitation for its initiative to address affordable housing in McKees Rocks.

"I'm proud to have helped secure funding that will make a real difference in McKees Rocks and Coraopolis," Kulik said. "From affordable housing to business development and community services, these investments will help revitalize our neighborhoods and create opportunities for local families and entrepreneurs."
