Election Day is Tuesday, Nov. 3. Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Click here to find your polling location.

If you still have a mail ballot, do not drop it in the mailbox. Instead, deliver it to a ballot return site or the Allegheny County Office Building to ensure it is received by the 8 p.m. deadline on Nov. 3.

As a reminder, my office will be closed on Election Day.  We will reopen on Wednesday, Nov. 4.

The Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) can help keep your home warm and safe during the coldest seasons. The program provides a one-time cash grant ranging from $200 to $1,000 to help eligible families pay their heating bills. This grant will be sent directly to your utility provider and does not need to be repaid.

If you experience an emergency related to your household’s heat, you may be eligible to receive additional funds through a crisis grant.

The open enrollment period is underway for Pennie, the state’s health insurance marketplace. This is the one time each year where you can sign up for high-quality health coverage and explore options to find a plan that fits your needs.

You can learn more about coverage and open enrollment at pennie.com. Keep in mind that Dec. 15 is the deadline to sign up for coverage to start on Jan. 1, 2027.
