I’m pleased to have helped secure $7 million in state funding that will help to grow three local businesses:

• $5.8 million to Lindy Paving, Inc. for the Allegheny County Sustainable Asphalt Plant II in Neville Township
• $750,000 to Achieva Support to renovate the Bridgeville Pallet and Packing Facility
• $500,000 to The Wolfe Companies LLC for an advanced gift card manufacturing facility in Robinson Township

The Redevelopment Authority of Allegheny County has opened applications for grants from the Gaming Economic Development Tourism Fund (GEDTF), which uses revenue from gaming to allow municipalities, authorities, councils of government (COGs), and both non- and for-profit businesses to carry out significant economic development for current and future use.

You can learn more about the fund and apply for a grant here. Applications are due on Friday, August 14th.
