FOR PATIENTS

Current Status of Crozer Health Facilities

As of 8 am 4/23/25, the Emergency Rooms at Crozer Chester Medical Center and Taylor Hospital are on full diversion and closed to ambulances in preparation for closure of both hospitals with varying timelines for closures from April 25 through May 2, 2025.

  • This closure does NOT include the Ambulatory Surgery & Imaging centers at Brinton Lakes, Broomall, Haverford, and Media.
  • Crozer-Keystone Surgery Center at Brinton Lake and Crozer-Keystone Surgery Center at Haverford will both NOT be closing
  • Crozer Endoscopy Center (a department at Crozer Chester Medical Center), will be closing
  • Broomall Radiation Oncology Center will close
  • All Outpatient Services will close.

The behavioral health crisis center at Crozer Chester will be on full diversion and closed to ambulances starting at 8 am 4/28/25. The County will have contracts in place with other providers to pick up those services on Monday, April 28 so that there is no gap in service. We will announce those providers and start dates as soon as agreements are finalized. We recognize the challenge and difficulties that this shortened closure time is bringing, however we will work to ensure all our residents and stakeholders are informed and that services continue seamlessly.
