RIDLEY PARK, Sept. 29 – State Rep. Dave Delloso will host a document shredding event in Norwood on Oct. 31 to help constituents protect their personal information and safely dispose of sensitive information.
Delloso said disposal of sensitive documents can help prevent identity theft.
Residents can drop off paper and personal documents in disposable boxes or bags for secure shredding from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Oct. 31 at the Norwood Fire Company. All documents will be shredded on-site, and the shredded paper will be recycled.
The event will also serve as a donation drop-off location for his office’s upcoming canned food and winter clothing drive.
The Norwood Fire Company is located at 336 Chester Pike in Norwood. The event is free and open to the public.
