RIDLEY PARK, Nov. 5 – State Rep. David Delloso, D-Delaware, is hosting a free lunch for veterans next week. Delloso’s Drive-Through Veterans Bagged Lunch event is scheduled from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 9 at Collingdale Borough Hall, located at 800 MacDade Blvd. in Collingdale.
Veterans are asked to reserve a free lunch by contacting Delloso’s office at 610-534-1002 or RepDelloso@pahouse.net.
“I’ve always hosted events to honor veterans for their service to our community and nation, but it’s also important to keep our residents safe at a time when COVID-19 cases are rising at unprecedented levels in Pennsylvania during this pandemic,” Delloso said. “Next week, I’m hosting a drive-through bagged lunch to honor our veterans while taking the steps necessary to limit any potential exposure to this virus during this health emergency.”
Veterans should wear a mask when picking up their lunch. Seating is not available on site; the event will allow veterans to pick up their lunch and leave.
Legislative updates will be handed out, and veterans are invited to speak with Delloso about policy matters.
