Dear Neighbor,

My office will be represented at several community events over the next few weeks.

This Saturday, October 4th, we will have a table at the Folsom Fire Co. Oktoberfest. Expect homemade beer, wine, baked goods, crafts, and more. Folsom usually has a great turnout, so don’t miss it!

Next Saturday, October 11th, you can find us at the Delaware County Mental Health Fair, sponsored by Rep. Jennifer O’Mara. There will be food vendors, inspiring speakers, health information, and wellness demonstrations in observance of World Mental Health Day.

And of course, we will host our big Veterans Luncheon and Resource Fair at the end of the month. Veterans, not only will there be plenty of information and resources for you and your family, but we’re also providing a complimentary lunch from Mission BBQ. We are partnering on this event with District Attorney Jack Stollsteimer, and be on the lookout for a special guest appearance from Senator Tim Kearney. Please RSVP by calling or emailing my office if you have not done so already.

Please see the fliers below for details on these events, check out the story below about the new State Grant Opportunities page on my website, and stay tuned for more news next week.

Sincerely,

Pennsylvania State Rep. David M. Delloso

New page on my website: State Grant Opportunities

Do you work with an organization that relies on grants for funding? The new page on my website is here to help you!

Many of the departments that make up our state government offer grant opportunities to local groups that serve the public, such as nonprofits, law enforcement agencies, and county governments.
The Grants page on my website will be regularly updated (the last time was earlier today!) with the details on all grant opportunities currently open for applications, so you can browse them all in one spot. Check it out here.

If you decide to apply for a grant, my staff and I are happy to support you. Just give us a call or email to talk about how we can help: (610) 534-1002 or RepDelloso@pahouse.net

FYI

Phishing Alert: Tax Refund Scam

Department of Revenue Secretary Pat Browne is warning Pennsylvanians about a new phishing scam involving fraudulent text messages that impersonate the department’s officials. These messages attempt to trick recipients into sharing sensitive personal and financial information under the guise of processing state income tax refunds. They often include links to fake websites and request banking details and Social Security numbers.

Similar schemes are appearing across the country, not just in Pennsylvania.

Please note: The Pennsylvania Department of Revenue will never send unsolicited text messages asking for banking information. If you receive such a message, do not click any links, do not respond, and delete the message immediately.

You may also report the message to the Department of Revenue at 717-425-2495, Ext. 72267.

To safely check the status of your state income tax refund, visit myPATH or call 1-888-PATAXES.

Property Tax/Rent Rebate forms

We have 2024 Property Tax/Rent Rebate booklets. Just ask my staff at either of our district offices in Ridley Park or Darby Township. As a reminder, my staff is happy to assist you with the rebate application process. Applications for a rebate on what you paid in 2024 are due by Dec. 31.
