PA Representative David Delloso banner image

Dear Neighbor,

We were excited to see everyone who joined us at the National Night Out events in Prospect Park and Ridley Township last week. The turnout was great, and everyone enjoyed the games, music and opportunity to connect with local first responders and representatives.

My office will also be represented at the Folsom Community Night tomorrow, Tuesday, August 12th. We will have an information table and a staff member who can advise you what steps to take if you have any questions about state programs or benefits. Please see the flier below for details.

I would also like to remind you of our License Plate Replacement event coming up on August 14th, which we’re hosting with Senator Tim Kearney’s office and the Ridley Township Police Department.

If you have a license plate that is damaged or illegible, please come to our office and pick up the appropriate PennDOT form (or download it here), fill out your basic information, and attend this event. Police officers will be present to sign off and make sure your plate is indeed illegible, and we’ll take care of the rest.

You will see below more information about these events, as well as a couple others offered by groups in our community.

I hope you have a good week – the heat is expected to make a return, so please take it easy when you're outdoors and urge your older friends & family to do the same.

Sincerely,

Pennsylvania State Rep. David M. Delloso

FYI

Do you or a loved one work in the construction industry?

In observance of National Wellness Month, I'm featuring timely health-related information in my e-newsletters and social media. Today, I'd like to highlight chronic pain and prescription opioid use in the construction industry.

Construction workers literally put the roofs over our heads. They do physically demanding work that often leads to painful injuries – and those can create pathways to prescription drug misuse. This is not a character flaw; it’s a medical condition.

Several PA departments work together on prevention and awareness efforts. For those already navigating the issue, please know you can access state & local resources for help:

We have 2024 Property Tax/Rent Rebate booklets. Just ask my staff at either of our district offices in Ridley Park or Darby Township. As a reminder, my staff is happy to assist you with the rebate application process. Applications for a rebate on what you paid in 2024 are due by Dec. 31.
