Is 'National Night Out' on your family's schedule?

Dear Neighbor,

As you may know, National Night Out is an event that happens every summer, all over the country. It is usually organized by your local police department and first responders, and the idea is that it’s an opportunity to meet with them, get to know them, and express any concerns you may have.

Of course, it helps there’s also lots of great local food, games, and live music. I've been attending our local Nights Out since 2019 -- below are some snapshots from years past.

My office will be represented at both the Ridley Township and Prospect Park versions of this event on Tuesday, August 5th. We will have an information table and a staff member that can direct you to the right place if you have any questions about state programs or benefits.

I would also like to remind you of our License Plate Replacement event coming up on August 14th, which we’re hosting with Senator Tim Kearney’s office and the Ridley Township Police Department.

If you have a license plate that is damaged or illegible, please come to our office and pick up the appropriate PennDOT form (or download it here), fill out your basic information, and attend this event. Police officers will be present to sign off and make sure your plate is indeed illegible, and we’ll take care of the rest.

You will see more information about these events below.

Have a fun and safe weekend – and enjoy this break in the heat while you can!

Sincerely,

Pennsylvania State Rep. David M. Delloso
