Connect Everyone for Safety + Success

Infrastructure is more than just roads and bridges to Pennsylvania businesses and citizens – it includes closing the digital divide in our cities and rural areas, and building a better, safer Pennsylvania to live, work and raise a family.

Ensure fast, affordable broadband for all

Utilizing and leveraging billions in federal funds headed to Pennsylvania through the new federal Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act, we can provide broadband accessibility to every region of the commonwealth. The pandemic showed us in more ways than one that fast, reliable and affordable internet has a direct impact on business operations, equitable education, telehealth, and job opportunities.

Promote efficient, clean transportation networks

As a state, we can innovate new ways to make it easier to move – and breathe -- by leveraging new federal transportation dollars to build and expand efficient, affordable rail travel throughout the commonwealth. Better access to rail travel provides accessibility for more people to get to work and earn higher wages.

Build stronger communities

We can reduce back-end law enforcement costs by investing on the front end through improved mental health training and expanded access to services for all Pennsylvanians.

We should invest in programs to help bridge the gap between law enforcement and their communities through evidence-based policing, innovative policing practices, data collection, behavioral health and crisis response. This will improve outcomes for minorities, individuals with disabilities, and low-income neighborhoods where there are disproportionate arrest and incarceration rates and will help address the gun violence epidemic plaguing too many Pennsylvania communities.
