It’s time for a feel-good story and this week I’m taking you back to the field of dreams! If you’ve been reading my newsletters for a while, you know that with the arrival of spring, my attention turns to diamonds!
Little League baseball and softball seasons are here!!! Yes, other spring sports are here also! (Note, I gave it an exclamation point, but not the three exclamation points I give to the diamond).
The feel-good story? We haven’t written it yet. In fact, it hasn’t happened yet, but if you’re intrigued, let me introduce you to the Challenger program.
The Challenger Division of Little League Baseball and Softball enables boys and girls, ages 4-18 (and sometimes 22), with physical and mental challenges to take the field and enjoy the comradery, the activity, and the pure beauty of the game. Players will field, bat, and run the bases with the encouragement and support of coaches, buddies, and adoring family. Every Sunday is a feel-good story.
All of our local Little League programs offer a Challenger Division and all would love to have another buddy if you were so inclined! Please reach out to your local club or call our office if you need help finding them.
Let’s PLAY BALL!
