Over 100 Days Without a State Budget
As of last Wednesday, the state budget impasse hit 100 days, and we are now over 100 days without a budget. House Democrats have passed three responsible budgets to the Republican-led Senate, but they continue to block progress.
Despite this gridlock, my team and I remain focused on delivering results for Reading and Berks County, helping with state services, supporting local businesses, and making sure your voices are heard. I’m also pushing forward legislation to strengthen schools, grow the economy, and lower costs for working families, because every Pennsylvanian deserves a fair shot to succeed.
