Pashinski on Rural Population Trends

Majority Chairman of the Pa. House Agriculture & Rural Affairs Committee, state Rep. Eddie Day Pashinski spoke during a Center for Rural Pennsylvania press conference on their recent findings regarding rural population trends in the Commonwealth. Given the wide range of policies that are impacted by population change, long-term planning that incorporates the expertise of a variety of stakeholders—including state and local officials, nonprofit groups, business and industry leaders, among others—will ensure that the Commonwealth is prepared for these changes, and that our rural communities remain resilient in the coming decades.
