Rep. Eddie Day Pashinski March 7, 2026 | 2:30 PM
PLAINS TOWNSHIP, March 7 – State Rep. Eddie Day Pashinski hosted a very successful dog licensing event Saturday in partnership with the Luzerne County Licensing Department, helping local residents to license their dogs and ensure they remain in compliance with state law.
The event was held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Pashinski’s office in Plains Township and brought together community members looking to license their pets, ask questions about licensing requirements, and learn more about responsible pet ownership.
“Today’s event was a great opportunity to make dog licensing easier and more accessible for our community,” Pashinski said. “Licensing your dog helps ensure lost pets can be returned home safely and supports important animal welfare programs across Pennsylvania.”
Representatives from the Luzerne County Licensing Department and the Pennsylvania dog warden were on hand throughout the event to process licenses, answer questions and assist residents with the licensing process.
Pashinski thanked the county staff for their partnership and the many residents who stopped by to license their dogs and support responsible pet ownership.
“Our office is always looking for ways to connect residents with helpful services,” Pashinski said. “Today’s turnout showed that people truly care about their pets and about doing the right thing for their community.”
Residents who were unable to attend can still obtain dog licenses through the Luzerne County Licensing Department at one of its upcoming events. To learn more about those events, please call the County Licensing Department at (570) 825-1764.
