Pashinski offices serving as Toys for Tots drop-off locations through Dec. 12

WILKES-BARRE, Nov. 5 – State Rep. Eddie Day Pashinski, D-Wilkes-Barre, said he is proud to partner with the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots program to help bring joy to children and families in need this holiday season.

“Every child deserves to experience the magic of the holidays,” said Pashinski. “Toys for Tots is a wonderful program that helps make that possible for families who may be struggling. I encourage everyone who is able to contribute to stop by and help spread some holiday cheer this season!”

The Toys for Tots program, run by the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve, collects and distributes new toys each year to less fortunate children, helping to ensure that no child goes without a gift during the holiday season.

Please note that Toys for Tots cannot accept used toys, items resembling realistic weapons, candy or food, or toys with chemicals (like experimental labs or crystal projects.)

Now through Dec. 12, members of the community are invited to drop off new, unwrapped toys, books or handmade items at any of Pashinski’s district offices during regular business hours, Monday through Friday, between 9 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.

Pashinski offices are located at 152 S. Pennsylvania Ave., Wilkes-Barre, and the Tuft-Tex Complex, 1325 N. River St., Suite 106, Plains Township.
