Rep. Eddie Day Pashinski February 5, 2025 | 4:10 PM
HARRISBURG, Feb. 5 -- State Rep. Eddie Day Pashinski released the following statement on Gov. Josh Shapiro’s proposed 2025-26 state budget:
“Governor Shapiro’s budget address was right on point – his proposal would improve the lives of residents in Luzerne County by boosting investments in public education, economic development, public safety and health care access,” Pashinski said. “That includes a proposed increase of $1.3 million to the Wilkes-Barre Area School District for basic and special education, continuing our efforts to reverse years of underfunding.
“While the final budget will be the result of negotiations from all sides, this plan is a strong foundation and should result in a final product that keeps Pennsylvania on the rise.”
