Pashinski’s office helps residents with PTRR applications

HARRISBURG, April 11 – Residents of the community attended a legislative outreach event today at the Valley View Terrace in Wilkes-Barre, announced state Rep. Eddie Day Pashinski.

Pashinski’s office staff assisted people with filling out their Property Tax/Rent Rebate Program applications and helped with any other issues they had.

“When residents call my office, many of them are calling about the Property Tax/Rent Rebate Program,” said Pashinski. “This is why holding these outreach events for the community is important. We can disperse information that people may not be aware of, and we can help them apply for this program that will bring them more money that they can use to pay for the essentials like food, gas, housing, heating and hot water.”

This is the third Property Tax/Rent Rebate Program outreach that Pashinski and his staff have held in the district. Three more of the events are planned for the following three Thursdays.

Pashinski said they are visiting the apartment complexes to help those who may have difficulty getting to his office. Additionally, he said that he would like to start making these yearly events so residents can continue to get the support they need from his office.
