Pashinski supports Wolf budget proposal

HARRISBURG, Feb. 8 – State Rep. Eddie Day Pashinski issued the following comment regarding the 2022-23 state budget plan offered today by Gov. Tom Wolf.

“I support Governor Wolf’s budget proposal because it would make great strides toward ensuring the Wilkes-Barre Area School District and over 100 other school districts that are underfunded will finally begin to get their fair share of funding for our students and our teachers,” Pashinski said. “This plan is Pennsylvania’s opportunity to revitalize and reinvigorate our human and physical infrastructure – without raising any taxes. The governor’s budget not only addresses education, but it also addresses health care, provides property tax relief, support for day care, the most vulnerable, and countless other programs to help our Pennsylvania citizens. This is by far the best budget proposal I have seen in my 16 years in the legislature, and I hope we can all come together and pass it.”
