As we head into Spring, my staff and I want to take this opportunity to highlight some of the ways our office is here to serve you. From assisting with state-related services to aiding you in making connections to community organizations, we are happy to help in any way we can.
Here are just a few of the services we provide:
- PennDOT forms and services – We can help with disability placards, registration renewals, senior citizen reduced registration, duplicate titles, and more.
- Senior Citizen Property Tax/Rent Rebates – Our office can help you determine if you’re eligible, file your application, or provide you with the PA-1000 form if you’d prefer to file on your own.
- PA tax forms – While we can’t help you complete your tax forms, we do have several of the more common forms available in our office, including the PA-40, Schedules A, B, D, E, and SP, as well as the instruction booklet.
- Unemployment Compensation assistance – If you are having difficulty reaching Unemployment to get answers about your claim, we may be able to help.
- Senior Citizen Pittsburgh Regional Transit ConnectCards – If you are 65 or older, you can ride the bus, T, or incline free of charge with your Senior ConnectCard. Stop in with your driver’s license or photo ID to apply or call us for more info!
- Legislative citations – Our office can obtain honorary citations and have them presented to help commemorate your special occasion. If you or someone you know is celebrating a major birthday (over 74), has achieved the rank of Eagle Scout, has retired with over 25 years of service, or is celebrating a milestone wedding anniversary (25, 50, 75, etc.), please let us know if you are interested in a citation.
- Unclaimed property – Our office can help you search the unclaimed property database and help you file a claim for any property you might locate.
- Assistance with state agencies or services – If you have an issue that involves a state agency or service and you’re having trouble reaching the right person or getting an answer, please reach out to us. We will do what we can to help you resolve your problem.
- Meeting your state rep – If you would like to request a meeting, the easiest way to do that is to complete the Meeting Request form which is available at repdanmiller.com.
Our office also sends out regular email blasts with updates about what is happening in Harrisburg and around the 42nd District, as well as about upcoming events we will be hosting. If you do not already receive our e-blasts, you can sign up for them at repdanmiller.com.
We pride ourselves on our service to our constituents, and you are invited to contact our office any time, whether to share your opinions or to seek assistance with any state agency or service. You are also welcome to stop by our office at 650 Washington Road to review our broad range of informational brochures about state services, state agencies and local nonprofit organizations, or simply to say hello.
We are here to serve you. You can reach us by phone at 412-343-3870 or email at repmiller@pahouse.net.
