Malagari announces $50,000 in state funding to rehabilitate Souderton’s West Street Park

SOUDERTON, Feb. 9 – State Rep. Steve Malagari, D-Montgomery, announced today $50,000 in new state grant funding to support the rehabilitation of West Street Park in Souderton Borough.

Located on West Street along part of the Skippack Creek, this park is an important recreation facility for local families, with equipment including picnic areas, playground equipment, and tennis courts.

“Something that folks really enjoy about living in the Indian Valley is its natural beauty,” said Malagari. “With this investment, we’re preserving space for families to connect, stay active, and enjoy one of the natural spaces that make our community special.”

This grant, administered by the Department of Community and Economic Development, will be leveraged to upgrade and modernize park facilities, providing a space for families to gather for decades to come.
