Dear Neighbor,

The holiday season is upon us! After celebrating our local holiday kickoff at the Lansdale Mardi Gras Parade, my staff and I are preparing to help you out this holiday season. We’ve got a great event lineup for you this week, with our Holiday Open House and Unclaimed Property Clinic to help you get in the Holiday Spirit and take back unclaimed property the state may owe you.

I hope to see you at one (or both!) of these events.

WEDNESDAY (12/3): Holiday Open House

This Wednesday, my office is hosting our annual Holiday Open House! Come get in the holiday spirit with us and enjoy some holiday treats and refreshments while you learn about state benefits and services with our office staff. You can look forward to:

FREE photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus (4-6 p.m.) ????
Crown the winner of our staff cookie baking competition ????
Get help filing for your Property Tax/Rent Rebate before the 12/31 deadline ???
Help with any state-related issue

This year, we are collecting for the Victim Services Center of Montgomery County's Holiday Giving Drive, and we ask that you consider bringing a new or slightly used toy to help us help our neighbors. We can't wait to see you there!

FRIDAY (12/5): Unclaimed Property Clinic

Does the state owe you money? The PA Treasury holds over $3 BILLION in unclaimed property, and my office is hosting an event to help you claim what's yours. Unclaimed property is composed of all sorts of things--old bank accounts, insurance policies, uncashed checks, and more--and something as simple as a typo in your name can prevent this property from reaching you.

At this event, we'll have staff on hand from the PA Treasury Department to help you search through the unclaimed property database and help put your money back in your hands, just in time for the holidays.

LANSDALE MARDI GRAS: Kicking off the holiday season!

Our team had a wonderful time marching in Lansdale’s “Mardi Gras” Parade — a long-standing local tradition that’s been bringing families and neighbors together since 1950!

We’re grateful to everyone who came out to celebrate, support our community, and kick off the holiday season with so much positivity and hometown spirit, and a HUGE thank you to Discover Lansdale for continuing this honored tradition!
