Rep. Maureen E. Madden's Biography
Maureen Madden has been serving the 115th legislative district since 2016. Recently appointed Chairwoman of the House Committee on Aging & Older Adult Services, she is dedicated to addressing the needs of Pennsylvania’s senior citizens.
Maureen is also eager to serve on the newly formed Alzheimer’s, Dementia and Related Disorders Advisory Committee.
Maureen is focused on improving public education funding, enhancing local infrastructure, and protecting the environment by ensuring that future development meets the needs of our community while safeguarding the environment and our quality of life.
In 2024, Maureen was selected to serve as the National Council of State Legislators (NCSL) Opiate Policy Fellow. She has sponsored legislation to expand access to medically assisted treatment for incarcerated individuals suffering from opioid use disorder. Now in her fifth term, Maureen looks forward to continuing her work of bringing taxpayer dollars back to her community for vital infrastructure projects, fighting for higher wages for working people, lowering property taxes, and prioritizing education funding at every level.
Maureen is honored to represent her district and remains committed to working hard for her constituents every day. With her experience, leadership, and dedication, she is determined to continue making a positive impact in her community.
