Seniors in Allegheny County can now apply for the 2026 Senior Farmers’ Market Nutrition Program, which provides a total of $25 in vouchers to use at local farmers’ markets.

NEW this year:

• Apply online or by mail. If you'd prefer a paper application, stop by my district office.
• Vouchers will be mailed directly to eligible seniors on a first-come, first-served basis, starting on June 1.

Whether you’re voting by mail ballot or in person at the polls on Election Day, it’s important that you make your voice heard. Note these important dates:

• May 4 – Last day to register to vote or updated your registration: vote.pa.gov/register 
• May 12 – Last day to apply for a mail ballot: vote.pa.gov/mailballot
• May 19 – Election Day. Polls are open 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Completed mail ballots must be received by 8 p.m.: vote.pa.gov/polls

The deadline to apply for the 2025-26 Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) is May 8. LIHEAP provides cash grants to help eligible Pennsylvania families pay their heating bills. Click here for more information on LIHEAP applications.
