Fall shred event in Carnegie, check your Pennie coverage & more

YOU’RE INVITED TO MY FALL SHRED EVENT IN CARNEGIE

Join me this Saturday, October 4 at the Carnegie Municipal Building for my free community shred event. Keep your identity safe by bringing documents that may contain personal information to the event to be shredded on site. If you have any unwanted or unused medications, the Allegheny County Sheriff’s Office Project D.U.M.P. will collect those for safe disposal.

I hope to see you there!

COST INCREASES TO PENNIE IN 2026

Starting in 2026, many Pennie enrollees will see higher premiums because federal enhanced tax credits are set to expire on Dec. 31, 2025, unless Congress extends them. Without these credits, costs could rise by at least 82% for many enrollees.

If you have Pennie coverage, make sure your contact information is current so you don’t miss updates. Check how your costs may change at pennie.com/costs.

You can start exploring other plans to find one that fits your needs. Open enrollment for 2026 begins Nov. 1, 2025. You can compare plans at pennie.com and find free local help by visiting pennie.com/connect.
