It was such an honor to be with all the great union folks at Pittsburgh’s Labor Day Parade yesterday and celebrate everything they do to keep our communities running. I am so fortunate to have met so many women and men from organized labor, so many of whom I consider true friends! Union strong!

Congratulations to the Robinson Township community on the grand opening of its new Administration Building and Community Center. This is a beautiful center that will provide residents with many amenities from administrative to recreational to educational opportunities.

I had an exceptional experience as Woodville recently celebrated the 250th Anniversary of our nation's Armed Forces!

Thank you to Hollow Oak Land Trust for adding another Conservation area and Trail to our area. Nestled in Moon Township at the edge of 5th Avenue in Coraopolis, this new area and trail is preserving another outdoor space for residents to explore.

I also want to give special thanks to Scott and Christine Hoover for the generous donation of the 44 acres of land that made this all possible!
