2025 SUNDAY HUNTING DATES

As the chair of the House Game & Fisheries Committee, I want to share an update on the progress of Sunday hunting in Pennsylvania. The Game Commission has voted to expand Sunday hunting opportunities starting this September, giving hunters more chances to get out into the field.

Here are the new Sunday hunting dates:

  • September 14, 21, 28
  • October 5, 12, 19, 26
  • November 2, 9, 16, 23, 30
  • December 7

The new dates will fall within existing hunting seasons, except for migratory game bird seasons due to federal limits.

This is a big win for Pennsylvania’s hunters and a meaningful step forward in making the sport more accessible for everyone.

Text messages will be sent from 1-844-655-2300.

All responses will be fully anonymous and have no impact on a person’s current or future coverage.
