SUNDAY HUNTING BILL HEADS TO SENATE CHAMBER
As the chair of the House Game and Fisheries Committee, I want to give you an update on Sunday Hunting legislation.
The House passed H.B. 1431, introduced by my colleague, state Rep. Mandy Steele, which would fully repeal Pennsylvania’s Sunday hunting ban and allow the Game Commission to include Sundays when establishing hunting seasons annually. The vote was 131-72. The legislation now heads to the Senate for consideration.
The Game Commission is in support of this legislation. You can read its statement here.
