Krueger sponsoring blood drive with Garden City Fire House March 28

WALLINGFORD, March 25 – State Rep. Leanne Krueger D-Delaware, is joining forces with the American Red Cross and Garden City Fire House to help replenish blood supplies for the region.

Delaware County residents are encouraged to sign up to donate blood on available times between 1 p.m. and 6 p.m. Thursday, March 28 at Garden City Fire House, located at 412 Moore Road.

Resident can sign up by calling 1-800-RED-CROSS (1-800-733-2767) or visiting RedCrossBlood.org and entering the key words “Leanne Krueger” to find available times. A direct link to the signup can be found here: https://www.redcrossblood.org/give.html/drive-results?zipSponsor=Leanne%20Krueger.

“The need for blood is constant, and only volunteer donors can fulfill that need for people in our community,” Krueger said. “You never know when you or someone you care about will need blood, so I encourage all who are able to sign up.”

Krueger said her office also will be on site at the blood drive to provide information on state programs and resources and to answer questions on state-related issues.
