Claim your child’s $100 scholarship

September is College Savings Month, and the Pennsylvania Department of Treasury is encouraging families to take advantage of the Keystone Scholars program — which provides a free $100 scholarship for every baby born to a Pennsylvania family.

This is a great opportunity for parents and grandparents to take the first step in saving for their child’s future education through the PA 529 College and Career Savings Program.

If you have a child under the age of one — or know someone who does — make sure to claim your Keystone Scholars account and start building toward their future.

I had the pleasure of joining the Shri Swaminarayan Mandir community in Levittown last week to celebrate the 25th anniversary of BAPS. Together with Rep. Jim Prokopiak, we presented the temple with a citation from the Pennsylvania House of Representatives to honor this special milestone and the community’s many contributions.
