Rep. Carroll to hold press conference and bike safety awareness ride

GERMANTOWN, Sept. 4 – State Rep. Andre D. Carroll, D-Phila., will hold a news conference and bike ride from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 6 in Germantown.

The event comes after service reductions to SEPTA, which could affect the number of cyclists on the road.

Carroll will hold the news conference before a bike ride at Fernhill Park, where the ride will begin and end. Anyone interested in participating is encouraged to attend. Bikes will be available for participants to use.
