Resolution to honor Kada Scott introduced by Rep. Carroll

A resolution, H.R. 657, introduced by state Rep. Andre D. Carroll, D-Phila., would designate Nov. 18, 2026 as Kada Scott Day in Pennsylvania.

Kada Scott was a 23-year-old Philadelphia native. She was murdered in October 2025 after disappearing from her place of employment at an assisted living facility in Chestnut Hill.

“I am still heartbroken by the tragic loss of Kada Scott last year. My heart aches for Kada’s family, her friends and everyone who ever had the opportunity to know her,” Carroll said. “No family should ever have to endure this kind of pain. I hope that by passing this resolution, we can honor her memory and never forget who she was.”
