District event to feature free grant books, seed exchange, light refreshments
Rep. Abigail Salisbury April 14, 2025 | 4:03 PM
BRADDOCK, April 14 – With spring underway, state Rep. Abigail Salisbury is encouraging residents to stop by her 501 Braddock Ave. district office between 4:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 16 for “Grants & Plants” – a networking and resource event.
Salisbury said attendees will be able to pick up a free copy of the latest state grant directory, network with neighbors, participate in a seed exchange and enjoy some plant-based refreshments.
“Our district is filled with changemakers – folks who are dedicated to strengthening our community’s roots and cultivating new opportunities for residents to help them thrive,” Salisbury said. “With spring in the air, it’s the perfect time to help grow those opportunities while also strengthening the connections between us.
“I’m encouraging everyone to stop by, pick up a free grant directory, pick up some seeds, and share some quality time with neighbors.”
Residents with questions should call Salisbury’s district office at 412-273-3400.
