Munroe to host recurring office hours for specialized human services help

WARMINSTER, March 20 – State Rep. Brian Munroe is offering recurring office hours with the Bucks County Hub on the final Tuesday of each month, beginning on March 26.

The Hub was designed to be a “one-stop shop” for human services needs in Bucks County, linking residents to the services of government departments, like the Area Agency on Aging, the Drug and Alcohol Commission, Veterans Affairs or local nonprofits, such as the YWCA or the Bucks County Opportunity Council. Hub Resource navigators can provide assistance in applying for services such as mental health services, substance abuse services, Medical Assistance, SNAP, rental assistance and more.

The hours will be noon to 4 p.m. at Munroe’s district office, 1410 W. Street Road, Suite A.

The Hub hours are the latest specialty hours that Munroe’s office offers. The office also hosts veterans services hours on the second Wednesday of each month and advance care planning hours on the first Wednesday of each month. An appointment is required for all three specialty hours; residents should call (215) 323-6997 to schedule.

“My staff and I are always looking for ways to improve access to government services for area residents,” Munroe said. “With our new Hub hours we hope to make human services easier to navigate and understand.”

Munroe represents the 144th Legislative District comprised of Ivyland, Warminster, Warrington and part of New Britain Township.
