Dear Neighbor,

On July 14, the PA House passed the 2025-2026 state budget bill and sent it over to the Senate. Since then, it’s been sitting in committee and the state Senators have been home in their districts. They aren’t currently scheduled to return to Harrisburg until September.

The delay in finalizing a budget is starting to cause concern about cuts in funding for transit, schools, and programs. If the Senate doesn’t act soon, these concerns could become reality.

You can help by calling state Senators and letting them know you want them to get back to work on the budget. Call Senators Frank Farry at 215-638-1784, Tracy Pennycuick at 215-541-2388, and Joe Picozzi at 215-281-2539 and make your voice heard.

PECO recently announced its new PECO Customer Relief Fund, a $10 million fund to help eligible PECO customers pay heating and cooling bills (electric or gas). Starting this month, our district office will be open for extended hours every second and fourth Wednesday of the month, by appointment only. We know it can be hard to make time to get to our office during normal business hours and we hope this adjustment makes it easier for you to get help when you need it. To make my office’s constituent services as widely available as possible, I've established remote office hours at local township buildings around our legislative district.

We are at the following locations from 10 a.m. – noon on the days indicated:

• Warminster Township Building: First Tuesday every month; next is August 5.
• Ivyland Borough: Second Tuesday every month; next is August 12.
• New Britain Township Building: Second Wednesday of each month; next is August 13.
• Warrington Township Building: Third Tuesday every month; next is August 19.
• Warminster Library: Third Wednesday every month; next is August 20.
• Warminster Heights: First Friday of the month; next is September 5.

Specialty office hours

To help focus on specific needs, my staff and I have established specialty hours when outside experts come in to help guide our residents. An appointment is needed for these hours. Please call 215-323-6997 to schedule.

• Advance Care Planning, First Wednesday every month; next is August 6.
• Veterans Services (9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.)  Second Monday every month; next is August 11.
• Human Services (with the Bucks County Hub), Final Tuesday every month; next is rescheduled for Thursday, August 28.
