Dear Neighbor,
As we moved the PA budget forward, you likely heard about SEPTA’s funding issues and how we in the House are working hard to keep PA transit moving. I voted to fund SEPTA and statewide transit to help protect everything transit does for the Commonwealth: provide jobs, stimulate the economy, and connect you with necessities and community.
Did you know that seniors age 65 and older can ride all SEPTA lines for free? All you need is a SEPTA Senior Fare Card. Getting one is quick and easy – just stop by my office with a proof of age (driver’s license, non-driving ID card, or birth certificate) and we can get you on your way.

PennDOT Hard at Work in Our Area
|
Back in June, at your request, I met with PennDOT while I was in Harrisburg and shared our frustrations with the state about many of the roads in our district. PennDOT agreed to start repairs within 30 days of that meeting, and I’m happy to report that the work is finally underway! This week I stopped by to see the crew at work and thank them for what they do.

Eligible applicants include veterans with honorable or general discharges, those with service-connected disabilities, and surviving dependents of eligible veterans or service members who died in the line of duty.
