Last Friday, the 4th edition of the Back-to-School kickoff cemented its place as one of the most anticipated, resourceful and impactful traditions in Reading! I’m proud to say we provided backpacks, snacks, school supplies, and haircuts and styling to nearly 1,000 students! Teaming up with Mayor Eddie Moran and so many incredible organizations made this day possible, filling it with joy, celebration and true community spirit.

Transit funding must be stable and protected from budget battles and political games, now, before BARTA Transportation faces cuts; the crisis is already here.
