The 4th Annual Back-to-School Kickoff fair is almost here!

There is ONLY 1 DAY LEFT until Reading’s BIGGEST, most RESOURCE-PACKED Back-to-School Kick-Off Bash!

I’m thrilled to team up once again with Mayor Eddie Moran to bring our community FREE school supplies, fresh haircuts, delicious refreshments—including pizza, hot dogs, and much more—plus valuable info on local and state programs!

The fair will be held this Friday, August 15, from 10 AM-1 PM at the plaza located at 644 Penn Street, Reading.

Parents, this event is for YOU! Bring your kids to get everything they need for a successful school year—and enjoy a fun, festive community celebration! We’re coming together to get your kids ready for the new school year in style — and 25 barbers and hairstylists will be at the fair giving FREE back-to-school cuts!

Free parking will be available at 6th & Cherry from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.—starting half an hour before and ending half an hour after the event.

Securing the Future of Reading’s Transit

On Monday, I delivered for Reading and Berks County. I voted to expand transit service, make our roads safer, ensure reliable commutes, and provide efficient transportation for every member of our community. We’ve already invested—now the Senate must do better.

The Republican Senate is forcing transit systems to decide whether they can continue providing essential service—and they are failing the people who rely on them every day. Workers, students, and seniors in Reading and Berks County deserve better. Transit funding must be stable and protected from budget battles and political games, now, before BARTA faces cuts; the crisis is already here.

Raise your voice. Demand your senator GET IT DONE—NOW!
