Dukes, Harris to hold grant information session in Butler County

CRANBERRY TOWNSHIP, Oct. 2 – On Thursday, Oct. 8, state Rep. Brandon Dukes and House Appropriations Chairman Rep. Jordan Harris will host an informative session about Pennsylvania state grant opportunities.

The event will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.. at the Cranberry Township Municipal Center, 2525 Rochester Road. Dukes and Harris will be joined by state agencies to dispense valuable tips on grant funding resources, application best practices, and how to find the right grant program for an organization. There will also be a question-and-answer period.

“There are many wonderful grant funding initiatives in the commonwealth that officials and organizations may not know about,” Dukes said. “That’s why I’m pleased to put this event together alongside Chairman Harris, so we can get Butler County better informed and connected to programs that can provide much-needed assistance.”

“Too often, organizations doing important work miss out on state funding because they don’t know what’s available or how to navigate the application process,” Harris added. “Rep. Dukes and I want to help change that. This grant seminar will put Butler County organizations in the room with the people who can explain the opportunities, answer their questions and help them take the next step.”

Media coverage is invited.
