Over 100 days without a budget, it’s time the Senate did their job

The Senate’s inaction isn’t helping anyone

Last week, my House Democratic colleagues and I once again passed a budget in the Pennsylvania House. This marks the third time this year that we have approved a budget bill in the House, only for it to be stalled by Senate Republicans.

Each time, we have compromised to meet their requests, but the time for delays and political games is over.

Communities and families across the commonwealth are counting on our Republican colleagues to end this 100-plus-day budget impasse.

It’s time for the Senate to do its job and pass a fair, balanced state budget that puts people first.
