Rep. Lisa Borowski, D-Delaware, called on the House on April 16, 2024 to pass her legislation that would raise awareness about SUDEP and enhance the accuracy of a SUDEP determination by coroners. Borowski was made aware of lack of SUDEP education to epilepsy patients by the family of Morgan Rose Hosbach, a Delaware County resident who died from SUDEP in 2022 at the age of 23.
