Pa. state Rep. Tarik Khan, D-Phila., recognizes the 25th anniversary of Young Involved Philadelphia, at a hearing in Harrisburg. Young Involved Philadelphia is a nonpartisan civic organization encouraging young people to engage in advocacy, volunteerism, and leadership. In his remarks Khan celebrates its lasting impact on empowering youth to shape their communities today and in the future.
