Khan Fights for Community Hospitals

As nurse practitioner, Pa. state Rep. Tarik Khan fully supports Rep. Lisa Borowski’s bill aimed at granting the Attorney General’s office greater authority and better tools to review hospital and nursing home mergers when private equity is involved. Hospitals like Hahnemann, Sharon, and Crozer, have or are currently experiencing the harmful and disastrous effects of this practice.
