Rep. Jared G. Solomon March 23, 2021 | 1:19 PM
Pa. state Rep. Jared Solomon spoke out in a hearing of the House Urban Affairs Committee in support of legislation that would provide local municipalities with new paths to incentivize the creation and improvement of affordable housing units. Across PA, for every 100 people who need affordable housing only 42 will find it, meaning 58 will be empty handed. In nearby Delaware County, that number is only 22 out of 100 people that are able to find an affordable place to live, and out in rural Lancaster County that number drops to 19 out of 100. The bill passed unanimously out of the Committee.
