Pielli announces $453,672 in loans to Good Fellowship Ambulance

Funds to help purchase new ambulances

WEST CHESTER, May 30 – State Rep. Chris Pielli, D-Chester, announced today that Good Fellowship Ambulance received a total of $453,672 in loans from the Office of the State Fire Commissioner.

The funds come from the Fire and Emergency Medical Services Loan Program, which provides loans at a fixed 2% interest rate to fire and emergency medical services companies in Pennsylvania for the acquisition, rehabilitation or improvement of apparatus, facilities and equipment.

The loan breakdown is as follows:

  • $161,860 for a 2023 Ford F-550 4 x 4 Life Line Type III Ambulance (Model 158 Paraliner)
  • $146,418 for a 2024 Ford E-450 Life Line Type III Ambulance (Model 158 Paraliner)
  • $145,394 for a 2025 Ford E-450 Demers Type III Ambulance (Model MX164)

“Our Fire and EMS companies need modern equipment to save lives,” Pielli said. “They cannot afford to make do with aging equipment when the wellbeing of our neighbors is on the line. I want to thank the Office of the State Fire Commissioner for providing Good Fellowship Ambulance the necessary funds to acquire three new ambulances so they may continue their great work in keeping the people of Chester County safe.”
