Pielli celebrates induction of constituents to Chester County Voter Hall of Fame

WEST CHESTER, April 25 – State Rep. Chris Pielli, D-Chester, honored two of his constituents on their induction to the Chester County Voter Hall of Fame today. Pielli spoke alongside fellow elected officials, members of the Chester County Board of Elections, and PA Department of State Secretary Al Schmidt.

William J. and Linda C. Scott are two of the four newest members of the Chester County Voter Hall of Fame after voting in every November election for the last 50 years.

“William and Linda’s unwavering dedication to the democratic process reflects a deep trust in the electoral process and a steadfast belief in the power that every vote carries values that strengthen both our Commonwealth and our nation,” Pielli said. “Now more than ever, elections have real and lasting consequences. That’s why it is so important to follow the Scotts’ example—by showing up, speaking out, and participating in the democratic process. Their legacy reminds us that voting is not just a right, but a responsibility.”

In addition to their induction, William and Linda received legislative acknowledgements from Pielli for their demonstrated commitment to democracy and for trusting and supporting the electoral process of the Commonwealth and the United States of America.
