While we hunker down in Harrisburg to prepare for a long week of budget negotiations, there is some good news to share at the start of this arduous process! 

My legislation, House Bill 393, has been highlighted in the news after passing the state House earlier this month with bipartisan support! Below you'll find an article from Spotlight PA that covered not only the long overdue relief this would provide for our first responders, but the critical loss of future EMS & Fire services if we do not act quickly. 

Also below, you'll find this weekend's edition of "Face the State," a political show on CBS 21 in Harrisburg! I discussed some facts and figures of H.B. 393 and hammered home why this is such a crucial method of funding for our Fire and EMS companies. I also had time to share some details on my Mom's Court Bill (House Bill 1192) and why our judicial systems need to have special support systems in place to give struggling mothers a fair day in court.
