Office of the State Fire Commissioner: Fire Company and Emergency Medical Services Grant
Who May Apply: All fire companies, emergency medical services, and volunteer rescue squads
Use: Facility improvements, equipment purchases, debt reduction, training, education, and recruitment and retention
Funds: Grants will be not less than $2,500 and not more than $20,000 per applicant fire company and no more than $15,000 per applicant emergency medical service.

Commission on Crime and Delinquency: Residential Substance Abuse Treatment (RSAT)
Who May Apply: Counties, county jails/county work release centers, Single County Authorities, and/or County Behavioral Health Administrators.
Use: To support counties seeking to increase opportunities to provide Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) in combination with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to individuals in county jails and work release centers and upon release to the community.
Funds: A total of $1,130,905 in federal Residential Substance Abuse Treatment (RSAT) funds is being announced to support this initiative. RSAT funds require a 25 percent cash or in-kind match. The applicant’s source for the cash match must be state or local funds. Federal funds may not be used to meet the match requirement. PCCD expects to fund approximately five grants with budgets not to exceed $200,000 over the 21-month project period.

Commission on Crime and Delinquency: Pennsylvania Academic, Career and Technical Training (PACTT) Non-Competitive
Who May Apply: All existing residential facilities, community-based providers, and juvenile probation departments that are current PACTT Affiliates in good standing and are not on provisional status.
Use: Funds are being made available to existing PACTT Affiliates to support efforts in one or more areas designed to further develop the job readiness, academic, and employability skills of youth involved in the juvenile justice system.
Funds: Approximately $675,000 in DHS/BJJS Juvenile Justice Reinvestment funds is being announced to support projects among the existing PACTT Affiliates. These funds may result in up to 60 awards with 12-month project periods.

Commission on Crime and Delinquency: VIP Technical Assistance Initiative
Who May Apply: Institutions of higher education, non-profit organizations, and for-profit organizations.
Use: To select a qualified applicant to provide technical assistance (TA) to PCCD’s VIP and Building Opportunities through Out-of-School Time (BOOST) grantees as they implement new and ongoing violence intervention, prevention, and reduction programs
Funds: PCCD expects to fund one grant with a budget not to exceed $800,000 over the initial one-year project period.

Department of Community and Economic Development: PA SITES
Who May Apply: Municipalities, economic development organizations, redevelopment authorities, municipal authorities, industrial development agencies, and for-profit organizations.
Use: To develop competitive sites for businesses to relocate or expand within Pennsylvania.
Funds: $400 million in funding is available.

Department of Community and Economic Development: Manufacturing PA Training-to-Career Grant
Who May Apply: Technical and trade schools, school districts, post-secondary academic institutions, workforce investment boards, economic development organizations, and non-profit organizations. For-profit entities are not eligible.
Use: Projects must focus on the development and deployment of workforce training programs for individuals with barriers to employment, engage youth or those with barriers in awareness building activities of manufacturing career opportunities, and advance capacity for local or regional manufacturers to meet the needs of local and regional manufacturers that cannot be met through existing programs such as WEDnet and Industry Partnerships.
Funds: Funds are available on an annual basis and vary based on recommendations and constraints set in the annual budget.
Application Deadline: Applications will be accepted and evaluated on an ongoing basis as long as funds remain available.

Department of Environmental Protection: Alternative Fuel Vehicle Rebate Program
Who May Apply: Pennsylvania residents whose total household income is below 400 percent of the Federal Income Poverty Level.
Use: This program provides a rebate to Pennsylvanians who purchase or lease alternative fuel vehicles.
Funds: Rebates vary depending on type of vehicle purchased.
Application Deadline: Applications will be accepted and evaluated on a first come, first served basis as long as funds remain available. Please note applications must be received within six months of the date of the vehicle purchase.

Department of Environmental Protection: WIIN 2107: Voluntary School and Childcare Lead testing and Reduction Grant
Who May Apply: Childcare facilities and schools located in Pennsylvania with lead in drinking water sample results within 36 months of the application date showing water fixtures exceeding the remediation trigger level of 5 ppb (parts per billion).
Use: Reduction activities may include purchasing and installing hydration stations, point-of-use devices designed to remove lead or replacement of faucets. The primary goal of this grant program is to reduce children's exposure to lead in drinking water.
Funds: Funding under this grant has been appropriated under 1464(d) of the federal Safe Drinking Water Act. Funding provided will be up to $3,000 per hydration station per 100 students in one building. Up to $30,000 may be awarded per building/childcare facility or $100,000 per school district.
Application Deadline: Applicants are strongly encouraged to schedule a pre-application meeting to discuss their lead reduction plans to ensure they meet applicable program criteria. Meetings can be scheduled by emailing RA-EPWIINLEAD@pa.gov.

Department of Agriculture: Farm Vitality Planning Grant Program
Who May Apply: Farmers, prospective farmers, and others
Use: Create or obtain business plans, management strategies, transition plans, ownership plans, or plans to maintain the long-term economic viability of a farm.
Funds: Up to $500,000 is available in grant funding. Individual grants shall not exceed $15,000.
Application Deadline: Applications are accepted until funds are exhausted.

Conservation and Natural Resources: All-Terrain Vehicle and Snowmobile Program
Who May Apply: Municipalities, nonprofit and for-profit organizations.
Use: Planning, acquisition, development, rehabilitation, or equipment purchase for ATV and/or snowmobile trails and facilities, ATV and/or snowmobile educational programs.
Funds: Funding comes from the ATV Management Restricted Account and the Snowmobile Management Restricted Account.

Department of Environmental Protection: Alternative Fuels Incentive Grant Program
Who May Apply: School districts, municipal authorities, political subdivisions, nonprofits, corporations, and limited liability companies
Use: Vehicle retrofit or purchase projects, alternative fuel refueling infrastructure projects, or innovative technology projects.
Funds: DEP receives approximately $5 million in funding each year through the utilities gross receipts tax collected during each fiscal year to carry out the provisions of the Alternative Fuels Incentive Act.

Department of Education: Keystone Grant for Public Library Facilities
Who May Apply: Grant applications are required to be submitted by a municipality on behalf of the project library.
Use: Planning, acquisition, development, construction, or rehabilitation of a public library.
Funds: Funding is available through the Keystone Recreation, Park, and Conservation Fund. This grant program is a dollar-for-dollar match, and the maximum grant award is $750,000. There is no minimum grant award.

Department of Agriculture: Agriculture and Youth Organization Grant Program
Who May Apply: Agriculture and youth organizations, which is an organization composed mainly of youth, or an organization with programs that benefit youth, and organized to promote development in the areas of agriculture, community leadership, vocational training and peer fellowship. This includes a school district.
Use: To help fund projects such as educational programs, work force development programs, eligible seminars and field trips, agricultural safety training programs, capital projects, equipment purchases and special projects, as approved by the Board

Department of Environmental Protection: Environmental Education Grant Program
Who May Apply: Schools, non-profit organizations, colleges and universities, county conservation districts, businesses, and other eligible entities.
Use: Delivery of meaningful environmental education projects to improve understanding of natural resources and cultivate critical thinking and environmental stewardship for sustainable resource management.
Funds: 5% of the pollution fines and penalties collected annually by DEP are used for Environmental Education grants. There are three grant ranges that include grants up to $5,000, grants between $5,001 and $30,000, and grants between $30,001 and $65,000.

Department of Environmental Protection: Driving PA Forward Initiative: Pennsylvania Freight Innovations in Transportation (PA-FIT) Grant Program
Who May Apply: Businesses, non-profits, state, local or tribal government agencies, air quality or transportation organizations, metropolitan or rural/regional planning organizations, or federal government agencies.
Use: To replace or retrofit fleet diesel-powered highway and non-road vehicles, engines and equipment.
Funds: $23 million in federal funding is available.

Department of Community and Economic Development: Local Share Account Statewide
Who May Apply: Counties, municipalities, municipal authorities, economic development agencies, redevelopment authorities, land banks, or councils of government. Non-profits may partner with an eligible applicant to apply on their behalf.
Use: Projects in the public interest. Projects that improve the quality of life of citizens in the community. Eligible projects must be owned and maintained by an eligible applicant or a nonprofit organization.
Funds: The PA Race Horse Development and Gaming Act provides for the distribution of gaming revenues through the Commonwealth Financing Authority to support projects in the public interest. Grant requests must be at a minimum $25,000 and no more than $1,000,000.

Department of Environmental Protection: Small Business Advantage Grant Program
Who May Apply: Pennsylvania-based small businesses
Use: Adopt processes or acquire equipment which results in energy efficiency, pollution prevention, and natural resource protection.
Funds: Funding can range from 50% or $7,500 (whichever is less) up to 80% or $12,000 (whichever is less) and will vary depending on environmental impact and project location. A total of $1 million is available in this round of funding.
Application Deadline: March 13, 2026, or whenever funds are exhausted.
