PennDOT to hold “Real ID Mondays”

To help ensure Pennsylvanians are prepared for the upcoming federal REAL ID enforcement deadline of May 7, 2025, PennDOT will hold special REAL ID service hours on Mondays at numerous locations across the Commonwealth.

These “REAL ID Mondays” will be held between February 10 and May 5. Here are the dates and locations that are nearby:

Monday, February 24, April 14, and May 5

10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

Washington Driver License Center

250 Oak Springs Road

Washington, PA 15301

Monday, March 3, April 14, and May 5

10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

Bridgeville Driver License Center

1025 Washington Pike

Bridgeville, PA 15017

As a reminder, getting a REAL ID is optional in Pennsylvania, but beginning May 7, 2025, Pennsylvanians will need a REAL ID-compliant license/identification card, or another form of federally acceptable identification (such as a passport or military ID) to:

Board domestic commercial flights.
Enter a military base.
Enter certain federal facilities that require a federally acceptable form of ID.
