DECEMBER 2 – 18
Stop by Baldwin Township’s Administration building and drop off a letter to Santa in a special mailbox. You’ll even receive a letter back from Santa himself!
DECEMBER 2 – 23
Follow Snowy the Baldwin Township Elf on Facebook to see what adventures he’ll be up to – he could be riding around in one of the police cars, a public works truck, or just hanging around the Administration building.

Beverly Brite Nite
7:00-8:30 p.m.
Join Santa and his elves for shopping, music and holiday cheer on Beverly Road.
DECEMBER 7
Dormont Fire Department Holiday Parade
10:00 a.m. start
The parade starts at Peermont & West Liberty and ends at Potomac & Belrose. Enjoy performances from the KO Band and cheerleading, local groups and an appearance by the man in red himself, Santa!
Dormont Home for the Holidays
11:00 a.m. start following the parade.
This festive event on Potomac Avenue features vendors, live music, an artisan fair, cookies with Santa, a magician, and more!
Season’s Readings at Dormont Library
10:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m.
The Friends of Dormont Library present Season’s Readings, a parade day event at the library. Hot drinks and treats will be served, and special guests will read stories and demonstrate crafts.
Willow Wonderland
2:00-6:00 p.m.
Presented by Castle Shannon Revitalization Corp. in partnership with Castle Shannon Borough. Featuring a holiday vendor market, tasty local eats and food trucks, photos with Mr. & Mrs. Claus, a gingerbread house contest, and more!
Uptown Winter Market & Holiday Celebration
12:00-5:00 p.m.
Come enjoy a festive day with great holiday shopping. In addition to the incredible shops and restaurants in Uptown Mt. Lebanon, you’ll find craft and food vendors, live music, a model railroad, a cookie tour, and an elf scavenger hunt. Word has it that Santa himself will be stopping by, and the traditional tree lighting in Clearview Common will wrap everything up at 5 p.m.
DECEMBER 8
Castle Shannon Community Light Up Nite
6:30 p.m.
Join the Castle Shannon Fire Department for our annual light up “nite” at the corner of Castle Shannon and Mt. Lebanon Blvds. Join us for carols, refreshments, treats for the kids, and a visit from Santa himself!
DECEMBER 14
Santa Claus is Coming to USC!
9:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.
Listen for the sound of the sirens to see Santa making his annual trip to Upper St. Clair, escorted by members of the Upper St. Clair Volunteer Fire Department. Santa will have helpers to answer any questions or concerns and to assist in taking pictures! Check the USCVFD website, social media, or call Santa Command at 412-835-3339 for a schedule of the approximate time Santa and his sleigh will be in your neighborhood.
DECEMBER 15
The CKids Chanukah Block Party
2:00-4:00 p.m.
Join us at Chabad of South Hills for totally epic, pre-Chanukah fun for the whole family. Spin and deliver the Dreidel Dash, jam to Chanukah beats, enjoy the Kosher food trucks and make your very own glowing Chanukah sculpture!
DECEMBER 21
Welcome Winter Party
1:00-3:00 p.m.
Let's all welcome winter together by having a fun party at the Castle Shannon Library with crafts, music, hot chocolate, and cookies! Children’s Librarian Miss Amber may read a few special winter stories as well!
Santa Storytime
11:00 a.m.–12:30 p.m.
Join Santa at the Dormont Library for a special storytime with snacks! Stay afterwards for photos with Santa and treats.
DECEMBER 22
Santa Candy Distribution
10:00 a.m. start
Santa’s coming! Look for Santa on our beautiful green firetruck with our firefighters. He’ll pass out candy to all Castle Shannon and Baldwin Township residents beginning at the Connor Road end of town. Listen for the sirens!
DECEMBER 30
The Annual Chanukah Festival
5:00 p.m.
Chabad of the South Hills presents its annual festival at Dormont Pool parking lot. Join us for a spectacular fire show, Grand Menorah lighting, lively music, food and hot drinks, and a firetruck gelt drop!
